We are proud to announce that the Corvallis Indoor Winter Market will be one of four winter markets (Portland, Oregon City, Roseburg and Corvallis) that will be previewing a new program for our SNAP shoppers. The program is called Double Up Food Bucks. It began in Portland markets and by spring 2016 it will be available at 45 more markets including Corvallis and Albany Farmers Markets.

This program allows SNAP shoppers to double SNAP dollars up to $10 a day. These double up Bucks come in $2 denominations and can be used for the purchase of fruits and vegetables, which includes any variety of fresh, dried, or frozen whole or cut fruits and vegetables without added sugars, fats, oils or salt. Your regular tokens can still be used to purchase all SNAP eligible foods.
